Assistant Vice President, Loan Agency / Processing Team
The job incumbent will report to the Head of Department and assist to oversee the operations by performing the following duties:


  • Approve activities / operations relating to the department;
  • Review and approve various MIS / internal & external reports;
  • Assist the Head to manage the resources within the department to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Maintains cordial relationship with relevant stakeholders, explaining relevant operational requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant product and operation requirements;
  • Propose system / workflow enhancement to cater for new requirements and enhance the workflow and control; conducting UAT as required;
  • Prepare cost allocation / budget for the department;
  • Update the department procedure manual and relevant self-control assessment criteria;
  • Assist in managing audit findings;
  • Assist the Head on staff management in the team as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree holder in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in Banking and Finance;
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in bilateral, syndicated loan and agency functions;
  • With experience as a team lead in loan processing and loan agency role;
  • Strong documentation knowledge on bilateral and agency products;
  • Good knowledge on credit risk and control, collateral management on bilateral, syndicated and agency products;
  • Sound knowledge in regulatory relevant regulatory requirements;
  • A good team player with good communication and presentation skills;
  • Good command of English Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
