Assistant Vice President, Operational Risk

Job Descriptions

• Maintain the Bank's business recovery capabilities and hence minimize operational risk exposure by executing tasks according to the respective framework and polices.
• Strengthening the Bank's business recovery capabilities by leading and coordinating the evaluation of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), design of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and related strategies,
• Setting up and driving BCP test plans, conducting post-test evaluation to identify improvement opportunities for respective units's BIA and BCP.
• Facilitate with relevant units in conducting mandated and ad hoc activities in Business Continuity Planning.
• Enforce Bank's operational risk management system by executing tasks according to the respective framework and policies.
• Prepare operational risk and business continuity management reports for management, head offices or regulators.
• Analyze products and services and recommend measures to minimize operational risk events.
• Analyze actual or potential operational risk events and recommend measures to minimize operational risk events.
• Participate in mitigation of adverse impacts to the Bank arisen from operational failures or crisis occurrences.

Requirements

• Degree holder in related disciplines;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business continuity and operational risk management;
• Familiar in multiple areas of banking operations;
• Knowledge in statistics analysis is preferred;
• Good analytical and local thinking skill;
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
