Our client is an equity long-only, Greater China and India focused, absolute-return fund. It is headquartered in Hong Kong and operates with an investment team of four and members in other functions. It manages a high-conviction portfolio with fundamental research-driven strategy. The firm is currently recruiting a research/investment professional to join. It's a generalist role conducting equity research in the Greater China region.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with investment team members to generate new investment ideas
- Conduct fundamental research on companies in the Greater China region
- Perform valuation analysis, comparative company analysis, and industry research
- Travel and visit prospected and invested company’s’ senior management for primary research
- Analyse and interpret financial statements and all other sources of investment information
- Maintain general knowledge of the investment climate, market conditions, and economic environment
Requirements
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in related disciplines
- 7+ years of related working experience in equity research or investment
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English
- Proactive, independent and creative
