Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Executive, Operations Management.

Principal responsibilities

  • Review regular reporting from Wealth Business Service to ensure processing standards are met
  • Review and maintain procedure manual to ensure in line with Group Investment Business Instruction Manual and Global Best Practices
  • Report non-conformities or irregularities immediately after occurrence
  • Follow up problems and discrepancies with counterparts by the agreed turnaround times
  • Ensure timely and adequate support to all internal customers, Client Services, Investment Teams, Products
  • Timely and accurate Management Information to Senior Management
  • Deliver customer service centric approach in team
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert in operation support
  • Responsible to provide operation support to Asset Management Hong Kong business and other Asset Management Global offices whenever necessary.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in executive role or similar level
  • Knowledge of fund valuation and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of operations in asset management, custodian and trustee
  • Prior experience in asset management middle or back office operations is an advantage
  • Well organized and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive working attitude and Service Provider Management skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English with good communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft computer skills
