Responsible to lead transformational change to maximize the operational and cost efficiency and build up the team at all levels with strong sense of control and risk culture to achieve regulatory compliance. Lead the operations team to oversee the operations control and management, including account on-boarding(AML/KYC), payment processing and customer service center. Provide oversight on first line operational risk by establishing risk-based control indicators for different business lines on risk identification, trend analysis and management reporting. Develop business policies and procedures and risk control guidelines to ensure all the standards and controls that are met with regulatory requirements. Drive for operations/control efficiency and promote a culture of automation with the use of fintech solution. Handle and co-ordinate regulatory/audit follow up and implement remedial measures for first line of business. Lead operations and control related projects and system enhancement. Manage the service performance with payment partners to assure execution effective, efficient and compliant. Acts as Complaint officer of the Bank for contact by HKMA in relation to customer complaint or complaint handling. Acts as BCP manager to co-ordinate the business contingency drill, test & recovery plans with different business lines and senior management to upkeep the business resilience capability in the event of crisis.
To be qualified, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 15 years’ banking experience with 10 years on management role in operations and risk management. Sound knowledge of control and regulatory requirements, especially on banking industry, AML/KYC/CDD requirements. Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills to manage projects, crisis and conflicts. Able to work independently and deal with multi-tasking in a stress environment. Lead transformational change with the use of fintech solution to maximize operations, control and service efficiency.
