Redstone Commodity Search are working with a major metals producer looking to hire a Korean speaking Aluminium Sales Manager to join the team in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for selling primary aluminium and value added products to Korean customers, as well as contributing to overall sales across APAC where applicable (ingots/p1020, billets, slab, wire rod, PFA/foundry alloy)
- Maintain excellent relationships with aluminium end-users in Korea and use cultural know-how/rapport building skills to generate new business
- Develop and execute hedging and sales strategies to maximise profitability of the book
- Conduct relevant market research and peer analysis to ensure the company remains up to date with current trends and ahead of the curve
- Reports into Head of Asia
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 3+ years’ experience trading or selling primary aluminium or value added aluminium products (ingots/p1020, billets, foundry alloys, slab or rod) in Korea or relevant neighbouring regions
- Fluent in Korean and English (additional languages a benefit e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Bahasa etc.)
- Ability to sustain commercial success through strong understanding of the Korean market and excellent relationship-building skills
- Successful track record generating revenue in a commercial role within the aluminium sector
- Located in Hong Kong or happy to relocate
