We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Lead PMO.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Risk and issue monitoring and escalation
  • Planning and overseeing project and programme level reporting
  • Management and monitoring of project governance arrangements
  • Monitor, report and manage budgets and expenditure
  • Implement project standards across projects
  • Oversee the management of project documentation, process documents and information sources
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developmental activity for junior team members
  • Provides expertise and best practice on agile practices, shares knowledge, lessons learned, templates, advice on tools such as Jira, Jenkins and Ansible, DevOps practices, asset capitalisation guidance, Agile engineering practices guidance
  • Undertakes Quality assurance checks throughout the technology project lifecycle and benefits realisation.
  • Contributes to the wider technology practice, shares insights from quality assurance and lessons learnt as to where the group lacks consistency

  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of Project Portfolio Management concepts as well as Portfolio PMO processes and methods
  • Good understanding of project management, including status, financial and resource management
  • Expert level experience in PMO, strategic planning, change management, or project management
  • Strong numeric sense and attention to details.
  • Banking or finance knowledge will be an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to deal with multiples stakeholders within the Bank
  • Good knowledge of Clarity, GPDM, and Cognos preferred. Proficient in MS Excel
  • Self-driven, with the ability to solve problems. Conceptual and analytical capabilities to deal with ambiguities
  • Being proactive, innovative, with good communication and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
