Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Mandate Onboarding and Transition Management, Asia.

Principal responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of new client mandates and the transition or restructuring of existing mandates working closely with cross border teams to ensure offices are ready to support and manage the mandate.
  • Provide effective support to all internal and external stakeholders, local and overseas, to ensure all operational requirements are completed before inception and keep stakeholders informed.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Deep exposure and experience in Operational investment processes and requirements
  • Good product and instruments knowledge including International Swaps and Derivatives Association and over the counter and exchange traded derivatives
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and able to work accurately under pressure
  • Relevant experience in asset management firms, particularly institutional client servicing,
  • mandate on boarding, and technical investment product knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills showing ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and written skills
