Our client is a strong performing Multi-strategy hedge fund, currently hiring a product controller with strong knowledge in OTC derivatives products to join them to perform PnL analysis and NAV production, the role works very closely with PM and Risk teams to discuss PnL issues.
Responsibilites:
- Daily analysis of PnL to trading desks, product and report daily PnL and risk
- Prepare weekly estimated PnL
- Review monthly swap resets
- Work closely with executing brokers and prime brokers on break resolutions
- Perform verification and coordination of REPO coupon payments with all counterparts
- Support in daily trade processing operations
- Identify flaws and suggest process enhancement to improve efficiency
- Daily in-house review of dividends
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Finance/Business/Economics/Accounting or related disciplines
- 4+ years of experiences in Product Control
- Sound understanding on Pnl components
- Solid knowledge of OTC derivative products and corporate actions
- Experience in process improvement for reduction of errors and efficiency
- Self-motivated with positive and proactive mindset
- An excellent communicator, willing to think out of the box
- Proficiency in excel VBA and ability to analyze high volume of data
