We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Project Officer.

Principal responsibilities

  • To arrange and monitor the launch of new phases of the Payment By Phone Service, Bank Bill Payment, Counter Bill Payment and the ad hoc Payment By Phone Service, Bank Bill Payment and Counter Bill Payment related projects. This involves the liaison work with Easy Pay System Company member banks, institutional merchants and service partners.
  • To monitor and ensure the smooth operation of internal and HSBC application systems. This work covers backup local area network administration and the coordination of all purchases and installation of Personal Computer equipment.
  • To assist the Assistant Manager Project Management and Local Area Network Admin in performing the functional test of self service products, including the coordination work and software development discussions with various terminal vendors.
  • To assist the Assistant Manager Project Management and Local Area Network Admin in maintaining Easy Pay System Company's Personal Computer File Transfer System capacity to strictly conform to audit's security standard and meet with merchants' requirements. This work covers conducting connection test and training with merchants on the Personal Computer File Transfer system.
  • To assist the Assistant Manager Project Management and Local Area Network Admin in monitoring self-service product performance and other system enhancements and projects by preparing statistics and collecting relevant information. This work covers the participation in other system enhancement and related projects, including Database Integration, EPSP Database Maintenance, Merchant Commission Enhancement.
  • To participate in the updating of the Easy Pay System Functional Specification according to the Assistant Manager Project Management and Local Area Network Admin's instructions.
  • To deputise the Assistant Manager Project Management and Local Area Network Admin during his or her absence.


Qualifications


Requirements
  • Form 5 or above
  • Hands on clerical experience preferably Information Technology related
  • Knowledge of Easy Pay System and credit card operations
  • Basic banking systems
  • Good command in both oral and written English and Chinese
  • Sound knowledge of Personal Computer skills, Local Area Network administration and wide range of HSBC standard software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Analytical reasoning, logical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multi task
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
