We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Regional Head of Wholesale Operations and Credit Services Asia Pacific.

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Credit Services Operating Model aligned to Global.
  • Responsible for ensuring the regional Line of business delivers in line with its Demand Statement to ensure alignment between business demand and capability.
  • Responsible for the development of Credit Services annual business plans by establishing a global view of what Credit Services can deliver in line with Global Business demand and regional capability to execute.
  • Responsible for establishing global Credit Services goals in Production Quality, Service Quality, Financial Performance, and Operational Risk that meet Credit Services targets
  • Responsible for ensuring the regional LoBs delivers in line with its Demand
  • Statement to ensure alignment between business demand and capability.
  • Responsible for ensuring global change programmes that impact Credit Services, and more broadly Wholesale related Business Services, are fully supported and that the implications on the Business Service are fully understood.
  • Accountable for the implementation of regional initiatives across Wholesale Operation as appropriate, liaising with resources from the Business and Change Delivery as necessary
  • To proactively manage the Asia Pacific regional Wholesale (Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets) Line of Business stakeholder relationships and act as the primary point of contact to Line of Business Stakeholders on behalf of all Global Operations Business Services providing services to Wholesale customers including; Credit Services, Wholesale Client & Account Servicing, Trade Service Centre.
  • To directly lead the Credit Services team across the Asia Pacific region and deliver an agreed set of business objectives, enable business growth and manage the direct Asia Pacific Annual Operating Plan through the delivery of strategic initiatives and continues improvement aligned to the Operations Deliver 2020 Think 2030 programme.

Requirements
  • Implement the Global Credit Services operating model in the Asia Pacific region and ensure it is aligned to local business demand or requirements
  • Managing processes end-to-end, ensuring adherence to HSBC's Global Standards for financial crime, regulatory compliance operational, security and credit risk as well as for operational excellence and production management
  • Driving the development of people strategies to support the Business demands and ensuring effective implementation.
  • Develop and drive ASP Regional relationship with Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets, ensuring the delivery of the transformational agenda for Operations 2018 to 2020
  • Wholesale Operations - Relationship manager for all Asia Pacific managed services HSBCVAK
    that recharge costs to Global Banking and Markets and Commercial Banking for example, Utilities such as Payments
