We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Architect.

Principal Responsibilities

This role requires a proactive and collaborative approach that works with and through others to achieve outcomes, and will carry out some or all the following activities:

  • Accountable for leading, driving and executing the group-wide business architecture standards and principles across the Hong Kong processes/services
  • Design, drive and embed an effective business architecture practice for Hong Kong including governance, oversight and awareness/understanding of the Group Business Architecture strategy, standards and principles – across both Run-the-Bank (RTB) and Change-the-Bank (CTB) disciplines.
  • Proactively work with key stakeholders across the Hong Kong business to embed Data Management practices/guardrails into key delivery processes of the GB/GF
  • Champion business architecture in Hong Kong by actively promoting the benefits of business architecture, accepted best practice techniques, standards and tools across GB/GF
  • Represent HK DAO in all matters related to business architecture
  • Provide business architecture expertise to support businesses in creation, maintenance and inventorying of business process maps with practices aligned to Group Business Architecture standards
  • Contribute to the design of the group-wide business architecture standards and principles and support the delivery of a holistic and integrated Group Business Architecture strategy.
  • Hong Kong Business Architecture SME responsible to uplift the understanding and literacy of Business Architecture practices and compliance in Hong Kong
  • Support data inventory management and related processes


  • Business Architecture - Experienced in business architecture mapping of existing processes to Global standards, including system and data lineage
  • Process design – recommend and design pragmatic and simplified solutions to implement data governance guardrails and oversight into existing business processes (both RTB and CTB)
  • Influence - Strong relationship management capabilities with an ability to engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders across organisational boundaries enabling the delivery of high quality outcomes.
  • Financial Services - experience working within/across financial services business units
  • Communication - Promote and communicate business architecture strategy, standards and implementation practice across HK business
  • Compliance – foster a compliance and risk culture by ensuring adherence to internal control standards
