Environment

SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Societe Generale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Client Services Asia ex-Japan (Principal) is composed of Account Managers and Product Events reporting across Equity derivatives, Fixed Income and Commodity business units. The team covers all type all clients: Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Corporate, and Central Banks.

Mission

Main Responsibilities:

Clients communication

  • Take charge of any escalation request (information request, claims, complaint etc.)
  • Actively monitor and follow up with clients and outsourced and off shored teams on the timely settlements of trades
  • Prepare and monitor clients' feedback on the quality of SG's operational quality; their preferred confirmation / systems / procedures and advise the Business accordingly
  • Work closely with Client Relationship Managers on enhanced serviced toward Tier1 Clients
Back-office relationship
  • Follow-up of operations and set up of action plan whenever necessary to solve ongoing issues
  • Analysis and communication of a monthly report in order to inform and improve the quality of our processes
  • Give clients information and feedback to our back-office: clients contacts, Standard settlement instructions (SSI), organization
Front-office assistance
  • Act as an intermediary between salesperson, back-office, and any other SG service whenever necessary
  • Engage Front Office in the issues surrounding settlement. Keep them regularly updated on the major issues and seek escalation on the major issues
  • Follow the on boarding of new Clients / Products


Profile

Your Profile:

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance or similar
  • Good working knowledge in Computer literacy
  • Basic knowledge of Financial products
  • Strong Innovation skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English is mandatory, with an Asian language being a plus


This is a fixed term 12 month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
