Sales Process / Platform
  • Responsible for insurance end to end sales insurance process
  • Financial needs analysis for insurance sales and continue enhancement of the FNA based on regulatory changes
  • Insurance sales platform in DBS as well as Manulife, which involves tech budget, scheduling with IT
  • Handle any new regulatory guideline changes and the implementation of these changes
  • Streamline of the sales process and use of technology to help ease the sales effort and raise productivity of front line sales people
  • Enhance and maintain the sales manual for all segments to ensure we fulfil regulator's expectation

Business Planning / Driving Business Initiatives
  • Lead and drive annual business planning with partners Manulife / Chubb
  • Discuss and agree on key strategic priority with partners and for each segment
  • Programme office leader role to manage/monitor/track the progress of key strategic projects within banca team
  • Monthly monitoring of actual results / progress against plan and decide if actions are required
  • Lead and drive own strategic initiatives (non BAU project), mainly ties to growth of banca business

Finance Reporting & Business Analysis
  • Responsible for the monthly and regular financial reporting to finance team and group
  • Commission reconciliation
  • Business analysis on business mix, product mix, trend, impact etc based on business need

Governance & Control
  • Strengthen the control in different areas of banca business such that we could fulfill regulatory requirements
  • Lead and manage all internal / external HKMA audits, monitor and lead the implementation of remedial actions
  • Prepare all necessary data / info required by auditors with support from other teams
  • Ensure we fulfil all internal DBS guidelines, handle all tasks related to risk assessment
  • Identify weakness in different areas of banca business, policies, procedures etc and proactively come up with solution to strengthen
  • Quarterly compliance meeting with partners and define key KPI to be monitored, lead the followup actions from these meetings

Complaint Handling
  • Liaise with different teams on customer complaints and compensation
  • Monitor complaint trend and identify any systematic issues that we need to address

    Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines Minimum 10 solid years of Bancassurance or insurance experience; General Insurance experience is a plus Good project management skill Sound understanding of HK Insurance market Strong marketing and project management experience Understanding of financial reporting principles Ability to structure, position, package bancanssurance solutions, meeting customers' needs and generating benefits to business
