Sales Enablement team within Digital Wealth empowers sales and client service teams to research, analyze and report their data to grow revenue and gain deeper operational insight. The main goal is to build an ecosystem by utilizing modern data visualization and advance analytical modeling Techniques.

Purpose and Scope

The Web/Java Developer will have the responsibility to execute projects under the guidance either of Senior Developer, working independently or with a project team, while also working with business clients to design and implement specifications to ensure the successful release of a completed product.

The individual must have an understanding of the software development lifecycle and good knowledge of multi-tier applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. Attention to detail and creativity in problem solving are critical skills.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Analysis and technical documentation based on business and functional requirements.
  • Hands of experience in software design and development of enterprise level system.
  • Plan, document and conduct unit testing, perform peer code review.
  • Understand existing systems and resolve operations issues while working with other support staff located across the globe.
  • Follow and improve coding standards.
  • Mentor other team members in design and development.
  • Provide development estimates on projects and tasks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide project deliverables
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies by finding the root cause of issues

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE/Spring architecture design and development.
  • 4+ years of experience of SQL and complex
  • 1+ years of working experience with No-SQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB
  • Solid understanding of different data modeling techniques
  • Experience with multi-tier application architecture and design
  • Experience working with modern MVC frameworks
  • Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture.
  • Experience with application servers, such as JBoss or Tomcat.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of issues.
  • Knowledge Distributed Systems Hadoop, SPARK, Kafka is big plus
  • Experience in the financial services sector, preferably at a top-tier asset manager, investment bank, or management consulting in a data-driven role, or at a technology firm is big plus
