Asset Servicing- Team Lead- Hyderabad
Purpose of Role:
To assist in the supervision of the offshore Income operations providing support and ensuring clear communication between all parties and appropriate levels of escalation.

The role is working within a small team in the London office providing vital assistance and monitoring of the Income operations in India. Being a key contact and escalation point for the operational teams, clients, third parties and management.

Excellent communication skills are required, the successful candidate must also have high levels of personal motivation with an ability to proactively manage queries and issues whilst ensuring deadlines are met.
Specific Duties:

To ensure timely delivery of all client and management deliverables by the operations team in accordance with agreed KPI's and timeframes. Understanding of the operations team's daily processes and downstream impact to client delivery. Reviewing queries, escalations, reconciliations and KPI's to assist resolution and report to senior management where required. Take individual responsibility for handling, escalating and resolving complex problems that arise facing off to the client and/or senior management where required. Managing internal change for the team; technology, procedures, additional functions etc. To keep abreast of market changes and developments as they affect the operations team. Working with the team to develop their knowledge and skills through training in order to meet new objectives. To assist in the motivating of the team by creating a positive working environment resulting in the development of teamwork and the attainment of standards of service and team targets Additional duties as instructed by the oversight manager and Head of Department. Participate in projects, client onboarding and process improvement workshops taking owner ship of tasks until completion of delivery Deputize for Manager in their absence Lead control conference calls with processing team to mitigation risk and provide guidance on breaks resolution Ensure significant matters are escalated to senior management, the GS UKMEA SMC, relevant functional heads and to legal entity boards as appropriate.

Ensure all activities are compliant with corporate standards.

Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Senior Management.
Adhere to internal procedures and best practices at all times.

Specific Qualifications/Skills:

A minimum of five years' experience in the financial services industry, ideally including some experience within an Income department.

Level of Education:

Finance, business, technology qualifications and/or equivalent or relevant industry experience
