Reporting to the Information Security Manager you will be involved in a wide range of activities, detailed below, within the wefox group in Italy. As one of the biggest actors in the InsurTech industry and after our successful series C fundraising, wefox Team is growing at a very fast pace. With strong growth come new challenges: you would be the one
in charge of spreading the agile mindset and culture across the company and making sure we can scale in an agile way.
In this role you will be: - Involved on ISO 27001 compliance
- Involved on Governance Risk and Compliance
- Test and adoption new cyber security solution
- Detect, protect and monitore cyber attacks within company perimeter
- Analyse and review company policy and procedures
- Performe GAP analysis according to the company framework
- Update on IT security trends and news
- Developing company-wide best practices for information security
- Helping security team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities
What you bring: - STEM degree (graduating in progress accepted)
- Good knowledge of scripting and Python language
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Familiar with Web application technologies
- Understanding of information security concepts and ability to apply them at scale
- Knowledge of web security best practices, including certificate management, encryption protocols, and common vulnerabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Cyber security certifications will be considered as a plus (such as those provided by CISCO, EC-Council, ISC2, SANS/GIAC, ISACA, etc..)
