We are looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals to be part of a new team working on the support tooling and documentation platform under the Tooling Services Division.


As an Associate Developer/System Engineer, you will be part of a team where we strive to change the way people work. You, together with our dynamic team of professionals using up-to-date technologies and applying agile software developments, delivery practices with a service-orientation approach towards the activities, tasks and processes that make up day-to-day work life. We help Swift to operate faster and be more scalable than ever before.


  • Solid programming/coding experience in Java & Javascript (React/Angular or other JavaScript frameworks)
  • Understanding of web-browsing technologies including HTML, CSS and AJAX practices.
  • Experience with scripting language, primarily Unix Shell, Perl, Python
  • Practical experience with XML, DTD, XSD, XSLT, CMS/CCMS platforms is a strong advantage .
  • Familiarity with modularized & SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP
  • Expertise in unit and integration test automation
  • Experience in SQL, Relational Database (e.g. Oracle, Postgres), NoSQL Databases (e.g. Elasticsearch)
  • Experience in systems setup & configuration, both on Windows and Linux
  • Experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker and Git
  • Practical working experience in an Agile development (scrum) context
  • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery
  • Knows or wants to learn how to translate business problems into software & technical requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Proven team player and team builder
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, goals and deadlines driven environment

  • University bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in Software development/consulting
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be eligible to work in the Malaysia
  • Team player, willing to work in a multicultural environment
