The Role Responsibilities

  • The jobholder is responsible for managing Core Banking ICM managed Programs and projects, or sub- projects for the Change Management countries where ICM is already present. Project value could be up to USD5 million and may involve external suppliers on relatively simple contract terms.
  • Manage the projects in ICM Implementation and Change Management
  • Manages a sub-programme/ project, or group of small projects, across all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Defines the detailed plan and its interdependencies, including planning for and locating project resources.
  • Identifies inter-dependencies with other projects.
  • Interact and manage Internal stakeholders (interfaces) and business stakeholders (country and operations)
  • Designs and implements an organisational project structure that works effectively and maximises efficiency.
  • Reviews and monitors risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Facilitates definition of benefits case and designs appropriate systems to capture and track benefits.
  • Manages communications between projects.
  • Monitors issues and ensures that resolution is reached.
  • Participates in contract negotiations with vendors and Contractors, where appropriate.
  • Champions project management principles and techniques.
  • Implements and educates project team in quality management.
  • Interact with various teams in ICM namely Delivery, Infra and PSS and ensure the project is successfully delivered.
  • Ensure the financial planning, demand and supply and resource management for Projects driven is managed diligently.
  • Follow Standard Chartered processes related to Project Management namely Clarity, Compliance Dashboard, TDA and Production Change Management.
