At the Corporate head office in Amsterdam the position of Tax / Transfer Pricing Advisor has become vacant. He/she is part of Group Tax that consists of about 25 people and reports to the Head of Tax Advice.

Your Work Environment
Group Tax provides high-quality tax support to ING's management and businesses. The team works together with ING's business lines and performs an oversight role in respect of ING's non-Dutch units. You will take up the following challenges:

Assisting the Transfer Pricing team with:

  • Developing, monitoring and documenting of the transfer pricing policies for the various intra-group transactions and services
  • Setting the strategy for intra-group pricing of goods, services and other transactions
  • Assessing risks in the evolving transfer pricing global framework and developing mitigating measures
  • Reviewing complex financial products, intercompany charges and Transfer Pricing calculations prepared by Accounting and regional teams to ensure transfer pricing policies are met
  • Advising on costs of major innovation projects

Being Responsible for:
  • Assisting local tax personnel in foreign subsidiaries and branches with local tax audits
  • Preparing Transfer Pricing documentation, for example, Country-by-Country Report, Master File and Local File of Head Office
  • Review of Service Level Agreements to support transfer pricing policies
  • Act as point of contact for and provide support on any tax related questions from Finance related to intra-group transactions and services

Assisting with or being responsible for other activities depending on your knowledge and interests:
  • Maintaining the tax control framework for Transfer Pricing, both in setting up processes and control testing.
  • Financial modelling and data analytics for Group Tax

  • Preferably a Master degree in fiscal law or (fiscal) economics, accounting knowledge is an advantage
  • 3-5 years' work experience in an international environment obtained at a tax advisory firm, multinational enterprise or tax authorities
  • Analytical skills, capable of successfully handling multiple tasks and quickly grasping complicated situations
  • You are able to work independently and are comfortable dealing with people at all management levels, both from Support and Business departments;
  • Organisational awareness and able to signal tax relevant developments within the organisation
  • Self-starting, identifying opportunities and taking action
  • Good communication and persuasion skills and ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way to both internal and external stakeholders
