The person hired will be working within the Private Equity investment line. This team manages around US$7 bn and includes 54 dedicated people.

Job Description

Investment sourcing & execution:

  •  Main focus on secondary and direct investment opportunities
  •  Support the sourcing of direct and secondary opportunities, leveraging relationships across Europe
  •  Initial review of incoming investment opportunities, preparation of initial entries and management of the secondary and direct investment pipelines
  •  Perform valuation modelling and sensitivity analysis
  •  Support in business and legal due diligence including closing process of transactions
  •  Support in election and structuring of appropriate holdings and other legal / tax requirements

Investment monitoring:

  •   Support in monitoring and reporting process of the investment portfolio
  •   Perform quarterly valuations of direct as well as secondary fund holdings

General activities:

  •   Support in research and report on specific sub-sectors / regions of the European private equity market 
  •   Participate in marketing / client service activities on an ad hoc basis
  •   Participate in broader team discussions on all private equity investments presented by other investment team members

Required Profile

  •   University degree from leading institution in business administration or economics (with major in finance)
  •   Up to 3 years of combined experience in private equity, investment banking, M&A or transaction services

  Exceptional analytical skills 

  •   Strong skills in MS Office and financial modelling
  •   Excellent oral and written communication skills
  •   Residence or viable permit to reside in Switzerland is a strong plus


  • Strong spoken and written English; solid knowledge of German, French or Italian is a strong plus


  •   Self-starter, with an ability to work with people across multiple offices
