  • A challenging position for you by being part of the First Line of Defense Support (FLDS) "Risk Control and Quality Assurance" team, dedicated to the Business Area Europe, based in the heart of Zurich
  • A key position in which you gather experience in risk management topics related to Private Banking Business such as AML/KYC (Client documentation, Flow of Funds etc.), Suitability & Appropriateness (Product and Client Risks), Cross Border (travel & non-travel activities, CB Manual, Licenses, etc.) and Fraud Prevention
  • Your responsibility will be the preparation of Supervisory Control Tasks (MICOS) on behalf of BA Europe management, timely information to line managers about the control results and suggestion of corrective measures
  • You will have the opportunity to conduct ad-hoc reviews including risk assessments, monitoring and quality assurance related to regulatory or risk initiatives
  • The chance for you to assist in the maintenance and development of the bank's control framework and provide support in risk management and quality assurance projects
  • Identifying risk patterns based on Supervisory Control results and discussing them collaboratively with internal partners


You Offer
  • A University degree or banking apprenticeship completed with a higher education is what you completed
  • You gathered a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant working experience in a financial institution, preferably in the risk management, audit or compliance area; knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back process would be an advantage
  • You possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape
  • You bring good process review/risk assessment skills with an understanding of risks and impacts in a banking environment
  • Independent judgment with strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills is what you can contribute
  • You have a sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and proactively; you are a good teammate with a can-do attitude and problem solving skills
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team, with management and stakeholders is your demonstrated ability
  • You show excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills and have a good knowledge of Front tools
  • You are fluent in English; any other European markets relevant languages are beneficial (German, Spanish, Italian or French)
