6 Months Contract- Scrum Master

The role:

You would be responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings.
Increases team efficiency, motivates team, champion for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness.

Core responsibilities:

  • Define and implement to team and wider organisational Agile adoption maturity model.
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation.
  • Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and leverage the value chain in a transformation environment. Guiding the team on how to get the most of self-organisation and to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Define standards and Integrate third party vendor operations.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • In collaboration with the front / middle office business, analysis, architecture, technology, data and testing leads, embed end to end agile delivery practices.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and
  • radiating information.
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

Your Qualifications:
  • Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least 3 years in a business implementation and software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situation awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  • Sound and Deep knowledge of TDD \ BDD Working knowledge of tools such as Jira \ BitBucket \ Bamboo and Confluence Exposure to GoldenSource and or Blackrock Aladdin
