  • DR Compliance (Governance, continuous improvement, Process & Co-ordination)
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive continuity governance, end to end DR compliance plan & checklist for all the applications & systems under EDM platform to comply BCM Framework (Policy, framework and controls) and recovery requirements.
    • Establish & Enhance the process and methods to synchronise/validate the project developed code/objects, platform related components, Infra components and setups between Production and DR.
    • Work closely with Change Management team & EDM PSS team to establish the process/SLA/OLA/standards/clearance related to DR compliance & objective for all deployment/releases.
    • Co-ordinate with respective teams for Design & implementation of automated validation procedures across platforms to ensure DR environment is in sync with production environment.
    • Work with Infra team to ensure DR systems Infra & capacity meets the BC standards and governance expectation.
    • Enable check point and play a gate keeper role to check and validate readiness with respect to DR compliance for the applications/systems which are ready for production implementation.
    • Work closely with Project/Application SPOC for having required fix & plan on the identified gaps in DR systems which involves potential risk for the DR & BCP compliance.
    • Ensuring BCM recovery and testing parameters are in place as they pertain to BCM processes.
    • Publish periodic report to Senior management which covers Enterprise level Source & Application systems view along with their DR readiness & BCP compliance status.
    • Conduct regular meetings/discussions with all the platform teams & SPOC for platform related DR Readiness checklist (updates) and configuration changes in DR System.
    • Co-ordinate with relevant teams/SPOC for BCP Strategy document, BCM governance & execution document and EDM DR procedure documents
  • DR Drill (Process, Scope management, Procedure & Co-ordination)
    • Prepare and maintain DR Drill preparation checklist for all the required platform & tools.
    • Discuss with IMs & SPOC to prepare and maintain source systems and consumption application list as part of DR application preparation & checklist.
    • Work closely with BAU & Operations team for defining & validation the pre-requisite for DR Drill in advance and update the DR compliance process.
    • Establish & Enhance the process and methods to synchronise/validate the project developed code/objects, platform related components, Infra components and setups between Production and DR.
    • Plan and Perform internal audit before the DR Drill to check for any gaps related to platform, application as part of DR Pre-check.
    • Play a Central Co-ordinator role between the Development & PSS team during the DR Drill and drive the DR Drill planning & execution.
    • Work with PSS team to define the DR drill components, functionality, scope and publish the plan to all relevant stake holders.
    • Provide necessary guidance to Consumption application team to define their downstream testing scope & sign-off criteria during the DR Drill exercise.
  • EDM Platform/application Upgrade to BC4 Compliance
    • Work on the Proposal/Plan to move the Enterprise Data Management Platform from BC3 level to BC4 level compliance.
    • Define clear objective & procedure for the platform & application to migrate to BC4 compliance.
    • Discuss with consumption application on the recovery plan & timeline based on individual application critically and continuity parameter.
  • Regression test management
    • Regression environment management - upkeep and maintenance of both TD and Hadoop regression environments
    • Regression dependency management - documentation and impact validations
    • Work with project teams to make sure that dependencies are understood and laid out in the right manner so that regression testing criteria includes all possible impacts
    • Publish and maintain regression calendar and publish the same to all relevant stake holders
    • Create and Maintain process documentation on data copy from production to regression environment
    • Co-ordinate data copy and regression execution
    • Track the success/failures of regression testing and make sure that failures/issues are closed before production deployment
