Director, Command Centre and Control - Senior Operations Manager

The Command Center and Control (CCC) team are responsible for the Incident, Problem and Organizational Change processes across the entire Aladdin platform for BlackRock and our external Aladdin clients. You can help lead some of the most technologically sophisticated systems in the industry and build a network engaging senior leaders.
CCC Operations Managers & our Business Liaisons work across the BlackRock and external Aladdin business leading proactive preparation for significant market events, as well as owning the resolution of business impacting incidents in real-time. They have a passion for technical troubleshooting, can lead and support a team through multiple simultaneous incidents, be able to join the dots and are problem solvers with a shown aptitude for quickly learning new technologies and proprietary systems.
You will regularly work with senior leaders across the firm using our global Incident Management process to provide structured, proactive and multi-functional support in meeting the needs of our business partners and customers. Additionally, this role will provide multi-function leadership in partnership with teams in Singapore driving operational strategy, client engagement, and efficiencies across multiple teams.
Our Operations Managers & Business Liaisons have a wide and multifaceted skillset, but we would encourage applications from candidates with some of the below skills:
- Solid background in supporting mission-critical applications and a track record in outstanding service delivery
- 10+ years' experience with team management and partner engagement
- Finance domain knowledge and understanding of financial products (like Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives etc.).
- Strong leadership, communication, decision making and interpersonal skills
- A natural interest in technology infrastructure and basic understanding of Linux, Networking Concepts, Distributed Database Systems, Cloud Platforms (like Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google)
- Data analysis skills e.g. Splunk, Grafana, Tableau, MS Excel
