Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will manage the finance function for several group companies and hold responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and group consolidation accounting. You will support the business leaders with decision making, providing sound advice from a Finance perspective, with solid data and analysis. In addition, you will partner with the Executive Management to optimise the group business structure and prepare for potential listing / IPO. An important aspect of the role will be to provide support to the rest of the business with your knowledge in compliance matters and the relevant MAS regulations as well as monitoring risk management policies and ensuring risk minimisation around the business.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are able to communicate well in both English and Mandarin in order to communicate effectively with counterparts around the APAC region. You will be an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA / CPA / ACCA) with 8-12 years' finance experience and prior exposure working for a Fintech company is essential. The ideal candidate will have a blend of MNC and Fintech company experience. You will have a strong all-round finance management skill set, paired with strong regulatory and risk management knowledge. Corporate finance experience that includes treasury / financing / banking relationships and negotiations will be advantageous.
