  • Global Portfolio Sales is part of the broader Foreign Exchange & Local Markets business within Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG). We provide Institutional Clients with a best-in-class electronic offering to facilitate their foreign exchange market information, trading, reporting and analytics requirements. Portfolio Sales Clients have access to our thought leaders for Research and Commentary through our award winning Citi Velocity portal.
  • Position Objective
  • The objective of Portfolio Sales is to enhance the coverage quality and experience of Portfolio Clients through the delivery of best-in-class electronic products and the use of analytics.  To grow our overall eCommerce franchise and enable further focusing of resources towards platinum and priority clients through electronification.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Roll out of Portfolio Sales coverage model to the Asia franchise
  • Collaborate with internal Citi stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Product, Credit Risk, O&T to ensure smooth transition of the portfolio sales business
  • Eliminate business inefficiencies and progress the eCommerce penetration of the FX sales business
  • Provide an enhanced offering to portfolio clients by working with our content distribution team and design teams to provide value added service for our clients
  • Ensure continued monetization of the franchise
  • Demo of electronic trading platforms including CitiFX Velocity, CitiFX Pulse and other multi-dealer platforms
  • Cross sell other eFX products where appropriate (NDFs, algorithmic orders, etc.)
  • Engage clients to better understand what products would enhance their execution experience such as:
  • Transaction Cost Analysis
  • Command Center
  • Straight through processing
  • Demo our proprietary research portal CitiVelocity.com
  • Gather feedback on current content clients are consuming today (weekly emails, event specials etc.)
  • Regularly follow up with clients to gauge their satisfaction and to ensure successful continuous log in and trading
  • Promptly resolve and attend to client questions on electronic FX trading
  • Report metrics around key objectives


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Proven ability to operate in a complex matrix of stakeholders to drive results
  • Problem solving skills / analytical ability / creative approach
  • Prior experience (3-5 years) working in a sales team
  • FX product knowledge, eFX knowledge a plus
  • Undergraduate degree
