- Global Transformation Project - SAP Success Factors, Ariba, Finance, Treasury - Director Level Position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction and alignment to the team globally
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define needs and create a delivery roadmap aligned to the business’s strategies and objectives
  • Manage stakeholders on all matters regarding either one of: Success Factors, Ariba, Finance, Treasury
  • Lead and oversee the design of the applications and the processes used in the delivery at an operational and strategic level
  • Work with all stakeholders to deliver robust design and technical solutions in a controlled, transparent and actively risk managed fashion
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and manage trade-offs between performance needs and usability
  • Ensure compliance requirements, technical, regulatory, risk, and other standards are met

Skills / Experience:

  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • A credible, commercially-astute, results-driven professional, with excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding and experience in Agile, Waterfall methodology and SDF
  • Deep functional and technical proficiency in SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and either one of: S/4Hana, Success Factors, Ariba, Treasury
  • Track record of success in delivering multiple large scale, inter-related, high risk, strategic and complex software and technology change projects which span organizational and geographical boundaries (including multiple business units and multiple service partners/vendors)
  • Experience working closely with technical and business teams to deliver quality implementations to the desired results: in-scope, on-budget, on-schedule, and agreed quality and governance standards.
  • Extensive skills/experience in technical development lifecycles; applications process design and configuration; application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and application technical architecture. Strong technical background enabling the role holder to understand client's needs and articulate technical issues in business terms and vice-versa
  • Very strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and set a true direction and working approach.
  • Proven experience in managing external vendors is required, as the role will interact heavily with service partners
  • Highly disciplined and deadline focused, with excellent organizational and time management skills.  A proven ability to manage and track progress on a wide range and high volume of tasks within a dynamic environment, prioritizing issues and following through on items to completion
  • Financial Management and Control: proven experience in managing project finances, identifying key issues based on financial information and putting in place appropriate controls and measures
  • Risk Management and Control: proven ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks

Good to Have:

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Prince2). Knowledge / experience of Agile, including Scrum
  • Knowledge of complex Financial Services environments and the regulatory landscape
  • Proficiency in tools such as Clarity and Jira
