Description

The incumbent will:

  • Repurpose research pieces or other communication pieces, into marketing pieces on client/prospect or public communication channels of the bank. This includes (but is not limited to) digital channels such as the Bank of Singapore app, the internet, intranet, client/prospect/public and any other communication distribution channels.
  • Create content that is: i) Journalistic in style, factual, extracting key elements to headline, concise ii) enticing for the reader, iii) suitably interactive - use of infographics, video inserts or other suitable communication materials
  • Be flexible and potentially create marketing materials and write general communication pieces for the Bank
  • Own, leverage and promote digital channels e.g. apps, websites, intranet and other social media channels
  • Align content to approved key messages and or House Views of the Bank
  • Support market research gathering and presentations
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity in order to identity opportunities to differentiate the brand and win clients
  • Act as a brand custodian, to govern the application of the bank ' s brand policies and guidelines
He or she will be responsible for initiating, developing, evaluating and implementing marketing communication pieces for designated channels. The candidate will work closely with content owners in Research, Product Groups, Product Marketing, Client Communications Marketing and others to ensure alignment.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English - written and verbal
  • At least 5-8 years - Analyst or Research (writing) experience
  • Strong understanding of business and finance is crucial
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the demands of a diverse culture
  • Self-motivated and confident with a high degree of initiative required
  • Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines
  • Possess strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent team player and exhibit a high level of motivation and drive
  • Experience in writing and communications
  • Exposure to customer and market research an advantage
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving


Qualifications
Financial/business journalism experience preferred, finance, business or marketing/communications-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
