Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Wealth Management Operations (WMO) Regional Group has dominant presence in Singapore and Hong Kong; as well as in China, Indonesia, India and Taiwan. The business covers Wealth and Retail segments in these countries.

The key operational activities supported by the Group are Client Onboarding and Client Static maintenance, Trade Investment Settlement (investment asset classes and major markets, multi-currencies), FX Margin Settlement, Corporate Action, Cash & Payment, Private Trust Ops, Asset Servicing, Reconcilement of cash, security and investment positions.

  • Strategic Enabler and Change Manager in supporting the management to develop and implement business plans and initiatives that will enhance the operations of the bank at large - efficient, nimble and resilient
  • Develop, reinforce and improve on the pertinent regional processes, policies and practices - introduction, standardization and adoption of best practices
  • Be the bridge and enabler between the management and respective countries operations units.
  • Ensure effective communication and encourage constructive cooperation - alignment of minds through sharing of common goals, challenges and prompt escalation

  • Implement and execute the GCBO group strategies and key initiatives
  • Support the CBGO Group Head on stakeholder management and reporting
  • Jointly with the Country Manager be responsible on budget and audit management, and issues resolution
  • Lead and drive operational transformational programs and initiatives for regional wealth operations
  • Create a strong control operating environment and efficient deliveries, embracing operational transformation
  • Ensure meeting of regulatory and compliance; as well as the bank's group policies and requirements
  • Drive digitalization and prepare the countries in meeting new Fintech evolution in the banking space particularly pertinent with Wealth Management business
  • Promote the use of data to enhance and support effective management, dynamic resource planning and deployment, and assist in solutioning
  • Ensure high readiness and preparedness in managing disruption, due to external or internal event
  • Keep abreast with market and regulatory changes, business needs - align the countries ensuring processes and procedure are developed and updated, to enable and support any such changes
  • Partner with Regional Operations Functions Leads in planning and formulating key strategic priorities and performance drivers for the Group


  • Bachelor's degree with min. 15 years of experience working in Banking Operations with exposure on Wealth and/or Investment banking products and businesses. Exposure to US QI/FATCA and CRS reporting, credit risk management and legal framework / overview would be beneficial
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills; strategic thinker who is hands-on and delivery focused
  • Acquire strong operational management and strategic planning skillsets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; highly driven and self-starter
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex transformation programs (i.e., organizational structure, policies and procedures, risk assessment, technology resources, management information systems, etc.)
  • Strong understanding on impact of operations to business and stakeholders, able to translate and communicate these to different levels of the organisation and able to manage cross functional teams to navigate through ambiguity to drive programs
  • Possess maturity in judgment. Strong focus on critical thinking, effective facilitation and influencing
  • Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organizing, decision making and delegation
