We Offer
As a continued effort to grow our Private Banking franchise in Asia, this role required to support the head of PB APAC FLDS and PB APAC Head of Competency Centers (CoC) to deliver team's mandate and drive management rhythm to ensure sustainable and compliant growth and proactive risk management. PB APAC FLDS maintains effective risk governance and control framework and monitors > 70 business risk metrics and top key risks. Competency Center strengthen controls landscape and coverage whilst managing risks smartly. The teams are also responsible for critical remediation, change and business-as-usual risk deliveries with focus on FCC, Investment Suitability, Controls & Monitoring etc and managing periodic updates to key local / global business partners as well as regulators as and when required. You can expect a range of challenging tasks and responsibilities, firmly embedded within the business with the view to deliver sustainable results with a significant impact to the bank. You will be working in a fast paced and motivated team.

PB APAC FLDS and Head of Competency Center's management rhythm
  • Support delivery of team's mandate and drive the management rhythm
  • Facilitate headcounts and tracking of resources across initiatives
  • Seek to provide business support for the PB APAC FLDS and CoC teams regional activities
  • Manage and facilitate selective regional initiatives
Control and Compliance
  • Partner with the teams as well as General Counsel and First Line of Defense to ensure business compliance with external and internal regulations
  • Conversant on PB's top and key risks as well as PB's risk landscape to be able to position and partner with internal and key PB business partners
Inter and Intra Divisional Collaboration and Cross Sharing
  • Cross sharing and collaboration of information within the teams, within COO as well as division Asia to stay aligned, enable effective cooperation on regional initiatives
  • Coordinate with various levels of business partners and have the opportunity to work within a team that fosters a culture of open feedback, transparency and collaboration for continued excellence


You Offer

Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience within the Private Banking business with intermediate degree of front-to-back banking process knowledge Solid understanding of APAC Private Banking risks environment and relevant controls would be an advantage – and demonstrates ability to get up to speed with the risk landscape and be conversant with it in particular on the top / key risks of PB Independent judgment with outstanding analytical, problem solving and risk assessment skills as well as ability to grasp risk / control concepts quickly Demonstrates ability as a self-starter, dedicated individual willing to focus and commit, able to see the big picture, think out of the box and ability to connect the dots across the organization Demonstrates strong sense of ownership and strives to deliver high quality and accurate outputs Ability to excel under-pressure with tight deadlines and possess a positive can-do attitude, able to work independently in a dynamic environment yet agile and flexible as a responsible teammate who is open to feedback Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal ability in particular story-boarding skills, outstanding organizational and time management skills to prioritize and multi-task as well as problem solving skills Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel and outstanding project management skills Ability to build positive relationships with multi-level business partners within the Bank Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
