Business Function
Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Job Purpose
Business analyst who is responsible for:

  • Bridging RMG-OR and technology teams, understanding business requirements and delivering data-driven solutions in terms of system enhancements, resolution of system production issues; and
  • Providing user support for the in-house, enterprise Operational Risk Management System (ORMS)
This role involves engaging stakeholders in Business and Support Units on production system fixes and enhancements.
Responsibilities
  • ORMS administration and user support including training
  • Translation of business requirements into system fixes and enhancements
  • User acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation of changes in ORMS
  • Perform static data maintenance and respond to ORMS users' clarifications
  • Work closely with technology team and other stakeholders to troubleshoot/resolve production issues
  • Understand and translate business requirements into system solutioning and enhancements; write user stories and define acceptance criteria as part of Agile approach
  • Support and perform UAT for system-related changes prior to implementation
  • Update and maintain MIS report formats in Qlikview
  • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements and prepare presentation materials to provide status updates
  • Create/maintain system related training videos and materials and provide training to system users
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of working experience in financial institutions and/or handling system related work.
  • Fresh graduate with relevant technical competency will be considered.
  • Diploma or University degree
  • Good inter-personal skills, with ability to work with people of different levels
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Meticulous with attention to details
  • Positive attitude to explore changes for improvement and challenge status quo
  • Analytical and able to identify/solve system related issues together with system support team
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Experience in QlikView coding will be an advantage
  • Must be a team player with ability to work professionally with team members and colleagues from other business/support units
