- Our client is a leading bank that focuses heavily on lending activities in both Singapore and Indonesia to Businesses relating to their working capital and project finance needs. Due to higher trade facility volume and growth in their Trade Finance business, they are currently looking for a Trade Finance Operations Senior Officer to be part of the Trade Finance Operations team based in Singapore

Reporting directly to the Team lead of the Trade Finance team, your key responsibilities would include:
- Handling the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions
- Provides operational support and advice for trade finance transactions to customers
- Processing trade service & finance transactions, including LC Advising, LC issuance, document processing, financing for both LC & non LC, and liaise with client for documentary aspects
- Processing accounting entry, reconciliation, and reporting on trade service & finance
- Ensure compliance of trade documents with the T&C of the LCs
Profile
To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or related disciplines
- More than 3 years of Trade Service/Finance experience in Banks is preferred
- Conversant in UCP600/ISBP/URC/URR/ISBP/Incoterms preferred
- Well versed with end to end trade finance operations such as Letter of Credit
- Meticulous with working knowledge of AML/CFT and other regulations in Trade Finance is preferred
- Able to work in collaboration, not only within Trade Finance as main job, but also with other teams (i.e. remittance, loan admin, settlement and onboarding)
