About our client
Our client is a leading Swiss vendor in the global digital experience and content management market with 10 regional offices serving customers in more than 100 countries. They have partnered with a leading private equity firm to enter a phase of significant growth, expanding their global sales and marketing footprint including its technology and channel partner ecosystems.
They are now looking to hire a Head of Finance to lead their finance department. The role will be based in Basel, Switzerland. There is flexibility for home-office. What the job involves

• Leading the finance department including Accounting/ Reporting, Controlling / Sales Controlling, Contracts and Legal
• Setting-up a scalable and sustainable finance structure
• Managing the finance team and local finance business partners
• Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (income statements, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Further developing of reporting & monitoring system
• Overseeing the finance department's day-to-day functions
• Creating a reliable cash flow projection process
• Driving and managing entrepreneurial initiatives
• Managing consolidated audits
• Managing the company's compliance with local and federal regulatory matters

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, or similar
• Experience in a finance leadership role in small or medium-sized businesses
• Experience in Software / SaaS business models would be helpful
• Ability to partner with Executive Management and local General Managers to establish and track revenue goals
• Experienced in handling challenging investor's expectations, ideally experience in a PE portfolio company
• Hands on mentality and a high energy level
• Data-driven and analytical mindset
• Strong understanding of legal and contractual matters
• Experience in supporting external audits
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in German and English
