We are currently searching for an Associate to build on our momentum from H1 2017 (5 deals closed) and execute on a growing pipeline of mandates.

The Associate Role
Associates at Silverpeak typically assume responsibility for a broad range of tasks, such as:

Deal Execution:
• Preparation of teasers and management presentations
• Company models (operating and financial)
• Supervising meetings and calls with counterparties
• Valuation analyses (public comps, M&A comps, fundraising comps, DCF, LBO)
• Reviewing LOIs / termsheets
• Co-ordinating due diligence processes among advisors and counterparties
• Meeting with clients

Deal origination:
• Co-ordinating the preparation of pitch presentations to prospective clients
• Co-ordinating outbound marketing initiatives
• Strategic sector research

Firm development:
• Training and coaching of analysts and interns
• Interviewing and recruiting


• 3+ years’ experience in investment banking, or in strategy consulting/accounting/corporate development followed by an MBA
• High familiarity with valuation methods and company models
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English;
additional EU languages are considered an advantage
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint especially)
• Independent capability to perform research from public sources and proprietary databases (e.g. CapIQ, Pitchbook, financial reports, private company registers)
• Demonstrable passion for the technology sector
• Strong academic track record
• Ability to work well in a team
