London 6 month contract -£650pd The Portfolio Solutions team is responsible for providing the best solutions and newest innovations to the performance, risk and investment teams located globally. The team works very closely with the business and third parties. Change is either delivered through major initiative funded projects or through the Portfolio Solutions scrum agile framework.

The Portfolio Solutions team is responsible for providing the best solutions and newest innovations to the performance, risk and investment teams located globally. The team works very closely with the business and third parties. Change is either delivered through major initiative funded projects or through the Portfolio Solutions scrum agile framework.

·         Have thorough knowledge of risk, performance and analytics.

·         Have a strong understanding of financial products used in Asset Management.

·         Take a hands-on, methodical approach to identify and resolve issues.

·         Be able to work on your own initiative, be self-motivated and to take on responsibility for solution delivery.

·         Liaise with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.

·         Produce quality test plans and manage all aspects of system and user testing.

·         Take responsibility for changes assigned to you, including facilitating the required meetings, obtaining sign off of acceptance criteria and managing to implementation.

·         Identify resource requirements based on prioritised work.

·         Manage or work as part of a team dependent on the workloads.

·         Manage risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner and Head of UK Portfolio Solutions Change.

 

ESSENTIAL 

·         Experience working with risk and performance systems.

·         Experience of leading the analysis process: from requirement gathering, writing test cases, implementation, sign offs and presenting demos to business.

·         Strong background in the financial industry, coupled with experience of the technologies used to support this function.

·         Previous experience of implementing change within the front office.  Agile experience is highly favourable but not essential.

·         Experience of the data technologies required to support the business.
