We're working with an exciting real-estate investment firm that focuses on adding value to high potential properties in the UK. The team are from a high calibre private-equity and real-estate investment background with a strong track-record of pan-European real estate deals.
The team is now expanding and they are looking for a bright and high potential individual to join as their COO. The remit is broad and you will be expected to drive the company's vision and operational improvement, as well as strategy for the firm, working closely with the CEO. This position will also link the corporate functions with the investment team and ensure smooth internal processes.
You'll require previous private equity or real estate fund experience, ideally with a fund-operational background. You'll have had responsibility in driving change, managing improvements and generally assisting in setting the strategic direction of a firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with the CEO in driving the firm's vision and operational strategy
- Contribute to leadership on strategy, the business plan and operational change
- Create clear goals for performance and growth and work with the firm to implement these
- Maintain the culture of the firm and oversee company operations
- Develop metrics and data to evaluate performance of the firm in-line with set goals and objectives
- Maintain relationships externally and internally
- Report to the board on performance, people and company achievements
YOUR PROFILE: - Ambitious and driven, not afraid to be hands-on with operational improvement
- Real estate or private equity fund background
- Strong leadership skills, previous managerial experience helpful
- Ability to manage and implement change
- Strong academics
