Process cash withdrawals via Cheque/Bacs/Chaps Payments.



Job Specific Experience/Technical Skills/Abilities

  • Cash Management
  • Process cash withdrawals via Cheque/Bacs/Chaps Payments.
  • Run Direct Debit processes and income runs.
  • Clearance and investigation of Residual cash balances on Client portfolios.
  • Monitoring of Client Money Bank accounts.
  • Liaising with customers where required by both letter and e-mail.
  • Monitoring/Reporting
  • Compliance with FSA requirements and rules (Client Money, Systems and controls and client assets)
  • Compliance with other bodies rules (PTM etc)
  • Reconciliations
  • Reporting the investigation and resolving any reconciliation breaks
  • Cash and stock reconciliations which includes Client Money and Funds
  • ISA Administration
  • Investment Processing

Outline of skills/experience required

  • Strong attention to detail and/or data entry
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the team as they arise
  • A willingness to take ownership and coordinate between internal/external customers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Prior knowledge of regulatory requirements for Client Money Rules and Regulations (CASS.
  • An understanding of the financial adviser industry and Retail Distribution Review (RDR)
  • Previous experience in Financial Services experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
