You will work as part of the Treasury Technology team for Jefferies International. The team provides solutions and support for cash management and liquidity reporting across FX, Fixed Income and Equities, including financing (Repo and Stock Lending).

Team

You will work as part of the Treasury Technology team for Jefferies International. The team provides solutions and support for cash management and liquidity reporting across FX, Fixed Income and Equities, including financing (Repo and Stock Lending).

Role

Working closely with Treasury to develop and maintain applications, providing application support where required. Working with global business and technology teams. Adhering to the firm’s SDLC policy. Ability to work in a small team, contributing design ideas.

Some knowledge of capital markets and/or Treasury function is useful but is not a pre-requisite.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

  • Working closely with the IT and business teams to gather, analyse, document and implement requirements.
  • Following the firms SDLC policy.
  • Providing development support for application production issues.

Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

  • Excellent technical aptitude – SQL, C#, .NET, WCF, ASP.NET, Angular (not required).
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience from a similar role with another financial institution is strongly preferred, alternatively we would also consider relevant experience from financial technology organisations.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Should be able to show aptitude to design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of capital markets.
  • Good understanding of Treasury and Regulatory function.
  • Knowledge of SSAS useful.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
