An established Commodities trading firm are undertaking multiple projects to deliver on commercial business requirements for their Gas trading domain. They require an Engineering Lead to join the team, offering you creative license to build bespoke systems that will be funded by their windfall profits, and driven by a desire to build best in class solutions.

Summary of role

You will be an experienced .Net Developer that has transitioned into an Engineering Lead that is looking to challenge yourself by working in a highly skilled team with a multitude of challenge. Bringing creativity to the forefront, alongside a deep knowledge of the commodities market, with a natural leadership style will allow you to thrive in this position and be part of integrating newly acquired business units into their ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities:

• Leading a highly skilled team to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Implementation of data rich solutions to bolster the ability to achieve business goals.
• Introduce new technological approaches to improve standards and practices.
• Collaborate with business users and senior management to deliver modern trading solutions.

Role Requirements:

• Full utilization of Microsoft Stack (C#, .NET Core, Azure,)
• Experience creating cloud hosted platforms - in a Microservices architecture (DataBricks and Azure)
• Extensive experience of full stack development - but primarily Back End focused.
• Proficient working in an Agile environment on large applications.
