A privately held, specialist insurance provider with a great reputation across the market that is showing huge year on year growth is looking for an FP&A Manager to join the team following a recent promotion.
This role offers a rare but fantastic opportunity to join a small, highly effective Finance function and make a significant difference with oversight of all FP&A activity, managing all budgeting and forecasting tasks and responding to the requirements of senior internal and external Private Equity stakeholders.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Oversight of the Group FP&A function (team of 3) and managing the annual budget exercise and other forecasting/regulatory requirements (monthly re-forecasting and long-term plan)
* A key player in developing P&L and cash flow forecasting accuracy and the Group's forecasting capabilities
* Appraisal of and embedding a mature planning infrastructure (excel versus planning software)
* Providing analysis and insight into business performance with KPI and revenue bridge development
* Project participation (potential M&A) with varying depths of ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making
* Development of treasury processes, including maximizing interest returns, minimizing foreign exchange/interest rate exposures, and ensuring sufficient funds in different currency accounts
* Management of debt facilities including covenant reporting/forecasting and interest calculations
* Development and documentation of internal controls and processes
To be considered for this role you will need to have an excellent track record in a commercial finance role ideally within the insurance broking/MGA space. Experience of working in a PE backed environment and having excellent stakeholder management skills are highly advantageous.
