A Financial Accountant is required for a International Real Estate firm with a strong presence within the Real Estate sector

This is an ideal role for individual looking to finalise or finish their accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA), working with precision and efficiency to ensure deadlines are met within the team on projects. The successful person will progress to a fully qualified accountant and gain experience by working directly with the CFO of the business

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with property managers to ensure assets are well managed with up-to-date information being maintained (rent, service charge and VAT reconciliation)
• Liaise with offshore administrators, ensuring all accounts and records are maintained for VAT/TAX/Asset return
• Developing and implementing management and control systems to minimise operational risk to the business including the preparation of cash flow forecasts and monitoring of actuals against budget.
• Ensure all document bibles are maintained and assets are "sale ready"
• Assisting in financial due diligence for corporate acquisitions, provide support on the implementation of holding structures and to the wider team in closing acquisitions in a timely manner with a focus on banking and operational matters
• Quarterly Director, Investor and Bank reporting

Key Requirements

• You will have working knowledge in the real estate sector and actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA
• A desire to build and progress a career within a well-established business
• Working experience with a technical accounting role
• Effective use of Excel is a necessity
