GS EMEA New Product - Product Strategy

Working closely with stakeholders in GS EMEA Product, the role will support defining the scope, goals and deliverables of GS EMEA Product to align with overall business goals in collaboration with other State Street stakeholders, including senior stakeholders and critical business partners (i.e. Client Groups, Finance, Legal, Compliance). Role specifics
  • Maintaining a project inventory of ongoing reviews and proposals around regional products that are to be developed, re-positioned or decommissioned
  • Building the product development priority list based on short, medium and long-term opportunities
  • Advocating for regional product agenda globally, building consensus within region and globally
  • Recommending products which are ready for promotion to become sales priorities
  • Coordinating NBPRA proposals for EMEA Product team
  • Creating annual prioritization and focus list for the sales force; evaluating impact and suggesting modifications to sales and product management priorities on a formal and informal basis
  • Tracking key competitor activity and regulatory changes in region and pro-actively raising opportunities for State Street based on this review
  • Develop a quantitative and qualitative framework to analyse the feasibility and desirability of strategic opportunities
  • Aligning client opportunities with wider regional and global product strategy
  • Converting client requirements to create functional specifications, including the prioritization of the deliverables

  • Adapt global solutions & products to local specificities and manage local portfolio of products and solutions
    • Evaluate existing products gaps to regulatory evolutions and recommend adaptations in line with regulation
    • Adapt new global solutions & products, taking into account local requirements and regulations
  • Educate Client Development teams on solutions and product capabilities
  • Lead on ad hoc assignments to evaluate existing products gaps, recommend enhancements and consider new products and capabilities
