JOB DESCRIPTION
ROLE: Head of Reporting
GRADE: B4
REPORTS TO: Head - Group Management Reporting
DEPARTMENT: Group Finance
LOCATION: UK - London
TERMS: Permanent
SALARY: Competitive

Scope of Role:
This role is in the Group Management reporting vertical under Group FP&A and would be responsible for overseeing and delivering standard suite of Management reports. Specific responsibilities will include building a strong framework around cost reporting and associated processes, preparation of management disclosures and related analyses during critical reporting cycles.
The jobholder will require strong analytical skills, extensive experience in handling Group Consolidation process, Client reporting, IFRS9 Disclosures, proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools and will be expected to leverage knowledge of the Group's reporting processes, as well as specialised performance knowledge of our segments, regions and products.
Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Administer Management reporting policies and governance
  • Thought leadership in design and build of insightful MI reporting
  • Review and analysis of Group's reporting disclosures and supporting reports (factbook)
  • IFRS 9 adoption in to Management reporting arena
  • Change management experience in managing global change for Management reporting
  • Contribute to the preparation of Management Team materials, including business review materials and analytical packs
  • Manage and drive change initiatives from time to time which is integral to the role
  • Build strong partnership with the dedicated support team in Chennai in driving process efficiencies from time to time on offshored activities
  • Periodically review onshore activities and align with the offshore centres with an objective to achieve scale and efficiency
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required on business performance for senior management
Qualification and Skills:
  • Accounting Qualification / MBA with extensive international experience across major financial hubs and emerging markets
  • Experience in Audit and Financial controls
  • Strong people manager and experience in handling large teams
  • Prior experience in a large multinational organisation with product, client segment or regional performance management roles is a must
  • Strong stakeholder management/interpersonal skills, self-starter, resilient and results-oriented
  • Structured thinking and strong process bent in instilling process controls and quality standards in the outputs produced
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reporting tools
  • Works well under pressure and able to hit hard deadlines
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and in writing
  • Exposure to the Group's management or financial reporting experience in financial services/banking
