Excelsior has been engaged by a major global player in core banking technology and consulting to conduct this search for a European Executive to lead their sales efforts. Reporting direct to the CEO in a newly created role following a global re-organization, this is a senior commercial appointment to shape their European sales organisation and scale revenues to the next level. In this high profile role you’ll be responsible for architecting and executing their European sales strategy, inspiring, leading and growing the existing team to achieving revenue goals to meet the companys’ growth ambitions as they capitalize on their already strong market position in core banking technology & consulting.
We are looking to speak with Executives for this role that:
- Have over 20 years experience, with a strong P&L and management skills in sales, marketing, business development and account management. With this you’ll be able to demonstrate success in successfully leading regional sales teams working on large, consultative, enterprise level multi-million pound deals. You may well be in a pure sales leadership now, but equally you may be in a Regional Head, Head of Practice, Managing Director or General Manager role with a strong sales leadership background; that's the type of Executive Leadership abilities our client would like to see and reflects the seniority of this role as their European commercial leader.
- Are very experienced in our clients’ financial technology and consulting domain which is core banking, corporate banking, transaction banking, digital banking and corporate treasury etc. Your sales leadership experience is likely to have been gained with a core banking technology vendor and/or large consultancy in this space.
