Exciting opportunity for talented Implementation Consultant with Asset Management or Hedge Fund Technology (EMS, OMS, PMS) experience to join this marketing leading technology company.

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the front to back office systems implementation at clients across the UK and Europe. You will need to become a product expert in a short amount of time and remain up-to-date as product and industry changes require. The Implementation Consultant will need to manage the competing demands of the clients to whom they are assigned, operating administratively as well as in a hands-on capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a mixture of development, business analysis, project management, presales and implementation experience. A person that is comfortable running complex implementation projects and dealing with all the accompanying issues is ideal.

The Role

The responsibilities of the Implementation Consultant include:

Managing individual implementation projects

Interpreting workflow analysis documents and the conversion of these documents into specifications for system configuration

Providing on-going communication and evaluation of project status

Providing a single point of contact for a client

Undertaking the daily execution of the project plan steps

Ensuring that a client’s needs are understood and documented

Providing proactive leadership in a client’s utilization of our products and services

Facilitating conference calls & meetings with other consultants product experts

Communicating pertinent information on upgrades and major releases

Managing training and consulting resource requests

Monitoring and assisting with the issue escalation process

Responding to additional product requests

Managing the co-ordination of work undertaken by our representatives in other locations

Maintain a general awareness of industry changes/trends

Occasional travel to Europe.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required:

4 - 8 years Front Office experience (execution management, order management, dealing with Fund Managers/Traders)

Applications experience with EMS and OMS would be a plus

Good market instrument knowledge - Fixed Income/derivatives/equities/FX etc.

Some technical knowledge, for example SQL

Exemplary client facing skills

Experience dealing with users or clients from either a technical or business area

Comfortable making presentations covering business, technical or sales

Project Management experience is desirable

A degree ideally a Technical/Financial discipline.
