About our client
We are working with a highly entrepreneurial firm focusing on investments in the UK. The team is highly experienced, both as investors and operators, and work closely with management teams across services/tech sectors. It seeks to make a material impact on growth and profitability, aiming to be the first private equity investment on deals. With in-depth sector knowledge across key industry sectors, the team have a wealth of expertise to offer and work in partnership with the portfolio. The team is small and dynamic, and by nature more entrepreneurial. It is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Investment Manager to join the team and contribute to all aspects of the business.
What the job involves

• Work on all aspects of the transaction process from origination, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and portfolio management
• Play an active role in origination efforts

Who we are looking for

• Prior experience within private equity, venture capital, growth investing or corporate finance
• An entrepreneurial mindset with understanding of, and transaction experience within, the UK mid-market
• An affinity to work closely with entrepreneurs / founder led businesses
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills and an ability to thrive in a small team environment. Able to learn quickly and engage with external parties confidently
