About our client

This is one of Europe's leading private equity investors with a long-running and successful track record in the industry. They are looking to hire a VP / Director level professional into their established IR team. You will work across both private equity and growth products and help with the strategic positioning and development of new products. You will have full support from junior team members and will help to shape and grow the team as required. This is a strategic role with exposure to some of the top institutional investors worldwide. You will need credibility and experience within private markets and a desire to join a collaborative, successful team. What the job involves

• Work creatively and proactively to ensure best in class service to the institutional investor base, leading on workstreams and collaborating with the existing team
• Participate in product development projects as the team look to actively expand into new strategies
• In time, develop and maintain strong relationships with investors through co-investment processes
• Develop and coach junior team members and oversee their work. Help with hiring and growing the team as necessary
• Manage due diligence processes and the production of bespoke marketing materials and fund documentation
• Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and other business teams

Who we are looking for

• Strong educational background with experience in private markets - investor relations or client servicing role or placement agent
• Excellent communicator, both orally and in written material, able to craft eloquent and succinct messages
• Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders
• Strong organisational and project management skills with a proactive approach to work
• Additional European languages would be a plus though not a pre-requisite
