Junior Software Developer - London
Systematic hedge fund based in central London are looking for a junior software developer specializing in C# and .NET. This hedge fund's core strengths are research and technology, so you'll be making a direct impact. You will be in a challenging working environment alongside a strong team of investment professionals, so you'll need excellent communication skills.
Many of the projects you will be working on are in a greenfield environment, so you'll be able to make your mark in the development world early on as you'll be creating and maintaining your own applications.
Requirements: - At least 1 year's commercial experience with C#, .NET and SQL
- Fluency in English - excellent communication skills are vital
- At least a BSc. in Computer Science or relevant equivalent degree
- This is a non-smoking company - you must not be a smoker in order to apply
Desired:
- Web technology experience - HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, etc.
- Experience in developing multi-threaded applications
- Network programming experience
- The ability and willingness to work occasional weekends
