My client, a leading investment manager, is seeking an incumbent to act as a link between marketing and IT. Marketing is increasingly reliant on software to achieve our marketing objectives. As such, marketing needs to have resources available that understand how those different software tools can be integrated together to create a comprehensive solution that is much more effective than the sum of its individual parts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across IT, marketing, sales, and business intelligence to translate marketing’s vision into a technology implementation that can deliver on those marketing goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will:

  • Work with marketing partners to define and document business requirements
  • Translate marketing’s business requirements to IT
  • Ensure existing tools are being utilised effectively and continue to meet the needs of the business
  • Administrate the software tools that make marketing initiatives possible
  • Handle multiple deadlines, projects, and budget requirements
  • Act as a product specialist for a variety of digital tools
  • Lead training of marketing software and user adoption
  • Relationship management with internal technology users and vendors
  • Change management for implementation of new marketing technology rollouts
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant professional experience in marketing with experience using a variety of marketing software (content management platforms, customer relationship management platforms, marketing automation platforms, analytics software, etc.)
  • Experience with Seismic or other Sales Enablement software is preferred
  • Experience with workflow and work management software such as Workfront, Wrike, etc is preferred
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM) software is preferred
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent business requirement writing skills
  • Ability to innovate and systematically improve process through automation
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
